Building an in-house export function adds fixed cost, travel and management time before export revenue is proven. C&S develops overseas buyer opportunities for export-ready Australian producers — and where a transaction is approved, may purchase and resell your product as principal rather than simply making an introduction.
Discuss Your Export PrioritiesWhere an Australian producer appoints C&S for a defined product or market opportunity, C&S acts as its non-exclusive authorised export market-development and trading partner. You keep your product, your pricing and your production decisions. We develop the buyers and coordinate the commercial process.
C&S acts as an independent contractor and prospective purchaser and reseller, not as the producer's agent. C&S has no authority to bind the producer: it cannot enter a contract, accept an order, grant credit, make a warranty or approve a discount in the producer's name.
We start by confirming what you can actually supply — specifications, certifications, MOQ, capacity, lead times and the pricing and commercial terms you are prepared to accept. Then we select target markets that fit that profile, rather than the markets that sound impressive.
From there we identify importers, distributors and commercial buyers, qualify them properly, and present your products with your approval. When a buyer is serious we establish their full requirement: volume, specification, certification, packaging format, target pricing and delivery timing. We coordinate samples and quotations and develop the buyer-facing offer using your approved product information and confirmed capacity.
Where C&S purchases and resells as principal, we determine the resale price and buyer terms and carry the commercial risk on that sale. You set the net price and supply terms at which you sell to C&S, and you approve every order you accept from us.
We remain involved after the first order to manage the buyer relationship, support repeat purchasing, capture buyer and market feedback, and develop further qualified opportunities within the approved scope.

C&S has no authority to bind you. It cannot enter a contract, accept an order, grant credit, make a warranty, approve a discount or incur a cost in your name. Your existing customers, appointed agents, distributors and protected accounts are excluded unless you agree otherwise in writing.
We normally work under non-exclusive, product- and market-specific authority. That means you appoint us for named products in named markets, and you remain free to pursue other channels.
Exclusivity is available but is negotiated separately and needs to be commercially justified — by supply commitments, pricing, performance undertakings or market-development investment on both sides.
We may work with more than one Australian producer in the same category. We think you should know how that works before you engage us, not after.
Each buyer opportunity is matched on: product specification and origin, certifications and documentation, available quantity and capacity, packaging requirements, your pricing, lead time, the buyer's intended market and channel, and how responsive you are.
Your pricing, commercial information and buyer relationships stay confidential. When you are selected for a named buyer opportunity, we can agree deal-specific protection for a set period.
Where a buyer needs more volume than one producer can supply, we may coordinate several — with everyone's knowledge. Products stay separately identified, documented and traceable. We will not represent one producer's goods as another's, and we will not combine food products without buyer approval and the appropriate manufacturing, food-safety and traceability controls.
Export readiness is a specific set of things a buyer asks for in the first two emails.
If you are in the second column, we will tell you — and what would need to change. After an initial conversation we send a short checklist covering MOQ, capacity, certifications, packaging formats, pricing structure and lead times. This checklist helps C&S assess export readiness and collect information that may be relevant when working with trade organisations.
Responsible trade
Before any introduction is made, C&S:
C&S does not guarantee regulatory approval, buyer creditworthiness or completed orders.
We are not a marketing agency, a freight forwarder, a customs broker or a food-regulation consultant. We coordinate with qualified specialists where a transaction needs them, and we do not perform regulated services ourselves.
C&S does not manufacture goods, and does not buy stock speculatively — any purchase is made against an approved transaction.
Where appropriate, C&S coordinates with relevant trade organisations and qualified service providers on behalf of participating producers.
Six questions. We ask for MOQ, capacity, certifications and pricing later — after we have spoken, not on a web form.
Cody will read this personally and reply within two business days. If C&S is not the right fit we will tell you that, and why.
