A working commercial diagnostic for deciding whether a physical product is worth pursuing. AUD $49
This is not a longer ebook. It is a 24-page document you fill in — most people take a few sessions over it. Where the free checklist scores the state of your evidence, the workbook works the numbers out.
What's in it
- Product brief and customer evidence log
- Competitor comparison across five competitors
- Product specification starter
- Target-cost calculation — backwards from customer price to a manufacturing cost
- Incoterms, explained plainly
- Three MOQ scenarios side by side
- Inventory and cash exposure, including months of stock
- Supplier questions to ask before choosing
- Sample review sheet
- Risk register
- Demand testing by signal strength
- Assumption flags, and a Go / Investigate / No-Go decision
Nothing calculates itself. The target-cost lines and the MOQ scenarios are deliberately manual. A spreadsheet that does the arithmetic for you lets you skip understanding it, which is the failure this document exists to prevent.
The assumption flag
Every field carries a tick box marked (A). You tick it when your answer is a guess rather than something you could show someone. There are 62 of them. At the end you count them — not to score yourself, but to see which of your assumptions would cost you most if they were wrong. Those are usually the project.
What you receive
Two files, immediately after payment
C&S Product Feasibility Workbook (PDF) — designed for printing and writing on by hand.
C&S Product Feasibility Workbook (Word) — the same workbook with clickable tick boxes and typing areas, for completing it digitally.
Who it's for
Someone who has worked through the free checklist, found real gaps, and wants to do the costing and MOQ work properly before contacting a factory.
What it isn't. Not a technical product specification — a real spec needs drawings, tolerances, material grades and test standards, and usually someone qualified. Not legal, tax or regulatory advice. It records what you believe; it can't tell you a belief is wrong, and it knows nothing about your category beyond what you put in it.
Questions
Do I need the free checklist first?
No, but it helps. The checklist tells you whether the workbook is worth your time.
Is it specific to my product category?
No. The structure is general; the numbers and judgement are yours. If you want a view on what's typical in your category, that's the Product Idea Review.
What if I buy this and then want a review?
The review is AUD $200 instead of $249 if you've already bought the workbook. You aren't charged twice.
